Ink source for Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mrk 2

I'm searching for ink for this printer.

I'd prefer to use original canon ink. From what I can see, the original 8packs are no longer available.

I went to B & H photo and could only see 7 of the needed 8 inks a 4 pack of CMYBK, a PC, a PM and a G

I do see a loose 8 pack on ebay, although I'd rather buy from a known supplier.

I also see off brand 8 packs, but I don't know the quality of the inks or the lightfastness.

To the extent it's relevant, I expect to use photo copy paper for either a transfer process, or for use on button making.

Also, any suggestions on the best photo copy paper?

I skipped one that has brighteners included, and another in which you have to buy 10 reams.

I found ink for the Canon Pro 9000 Mk 2 on Amazon, but only as a set not color by color. As you noted many off brands as well.

Can you tell a bit more about the 'transfer process' and the 'button making'?
Are we talking 'buttons' as in the ones that were in vogue in the 1970s? So basically just a round piece of paper clamped behind a transparent piece of plastic?
The 'transfer' thing is a little less obvious to me.

What's the problem with OBA's for your applications? What do you mean by 'copy paper'?
