I recently got a Koni-Omega M ground glass attachment and want to use it on my Rapid Omega 200, but I can't find any instructions on how to do so, just a few tidbits found online that a ground glass exists. Do you attach the glass to the camera back or to the magazine? Any info would be greatly appreciated because I really love, love this camera and I've never used a ground glass before.
The Koni ground glass back should fit directly onto the camera back. I don't have one, but I assume that the back is removed after focusing with the film magazine replacing it for exposure. It should be a similar procedure to using a Graphic-type camera and roll-film holder for copy or close-up work.
I remember looking into this when I had a Koni-Omega (turns out I'm not a Rangefinder person) and you actually had to take the film back off, then put the ground glass on. Then when you are ready to take the picture, take the glass off, put the film back on and flip the shutter. Not the most elegant way to do things but it works.
