The original non-commercial LUSENET LF Forum founded by Q-Tuan Luong is back up and running at:

http://www.largeformatphotography.info/lfforum/

While limited to large format, the atmosphere and ideals of the LF Forum before it was moved to photo.net shared much in common with APUG, and it would probably be in the best interest of both sites to support each other.

Does 35mm qualifies as large format?
It's bigger than Minox...

:D

I suspect the moderators will be deleting most 35mm questions, but there's some grey area around medium format view cameras or view cameras with various kinds of rollfilm backs...

I wonder if digital will start to take over their discussions? New LF digital backs, drum scanning big negs, photoshopping, epson printing, etc...

Anyone who can afford a LF digital scanning back is too busy working to spend time on internet forums.

I just got my notification also, I am very glad for Tuan and the rest of us who found the old forum a home away from home.

APUG is my home now, but is good to have a rest stop now and then..

Best news in a long time...

While APUG is "home", the LF forum is probably a better place for quetions about obscure lenses and prehistoric cameras. When it coms to developing and printing, I'll look no furter than here!
