which 35mm film camera has the smallest angle spot meter built in and what angle is it on 50mm lense. I seem to remember that a nikon F90 may be the one but if anyone knows different then I'd like to hear about it.
I think my contax 167MT is 6 deg with 50mm lens.

Thanks

The narrowest angle I can recall was in the Canon F1n, c. 1982. 3 deg with the proper spot screen. I did a lot of stage shooting in the 80's-90's and this was one of the features I really found useful in the F1n. The 24/1.4, 85/1.2, 100/2 and 200/2.8 were nice too...!

Best,
Tom

I just got a copy of the contax rts III manual and that claims 3 deg spot. I already have lenses for that.

Any advance on 3 deg?
