Hello,

I followed the advice in the below thread to clean out the dust in my Luna Pro F light meter.

https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/gossen-luna-pro-f-disassembly.143958/

It said to turn the center red lightening dial with a piece of rubber and the screw would come loose, which it did.

Unfortunately it appears as though it was repaired once before and the previous owner just used a Gorilla Glue type of adhesive to hold the dial in place, and it cracked off when I applied force. The nut or anchor the dial screws into has fallen loose into the meter enclosure and I can hear it bouncing around.

I would preferably like to repair this correctly but I'm hoping to find a repair manual before I start messing with it more.
Or someone who know the steps I need to complete to correctly screw the dial back in.

I am poor and jobless because of the pandemic, so sending it in to the meter repair place in Cali is not an option.

Hi and Welcome to Photrio!

Here's a repair article about the Luna Pro. It's a different light meter but the later version has a similar dial, you can see the different parts on the 2nd page of the PDF. I've also found a picture of a Luna Pro F without the back cover, looks like you just need to unscrew 1 screw in the back to be able to remove it. It's only a guess but I believe the brass screws underneath the backplate holds the front cover just like with the Luna Pro.

Good luck and keep us updated.

PS: Take pictures with your cellphone to be able to backtrack.
