I got some Famous Brand Triple Print Film mainly for the 620 spools and the backing paper, but I was wondering if it is possible to use this film and develop it as black and white? I just hate wasting film I can play around and experiment with if I don't have to. I know it was a weird color process, but could I use Caffenol or D-76 or the like to develop it?

Thanks,
Michael

The stuff that was sold around here back in the 1970 era was some kind of Gervacolor. The lab at the place I worked at the time just ran it in C-22 and got REALLY WEIRD colours. I can't remember if it had a mask or not.

There was at one time in the UK, probably in the 70's, a firm called TrifCA who offered triple prints (1 large & 2 small on the same sheet). They gave a free film which was made by Ilford. It was masked, a yellowish colour, but I don't know what the process was, except I think it was some varient made by Ilford, possibly based on C22 or the old Agfa process. I think TrifCA were a subsidiary of a US firm. In the end the UK firm was sold to someone else. There is still a lab today offering triple prints n the UK but the free film is now by Kodak.
