Selling my Improved Seneca 8x10. Richard Ritter just worked on this camera this year--installing brand new bellows, making the 5x7 back and Linhof Technika adapter. All movements work smooth, locks tight, light tight, original extension rail giving bellows 31" draw. I'm also including the Pelican Vault v600 hard case, 1 wooden 8x10 film holder (not light tested) and 1 Lisco 5x7 film holder (not light tested). The only flaw is a small piece of wood missing on both sides of the front rail, but it does not affect function at all.
This is such a lovely camera and I hate to let it go, but these are hard times as they say.
I'm asking $1,550 (less than I've put into it just this year) and am willing to ship within the US for free.

Hi, please PM me about its movements (front & rear) and the weight (just camera and all set)
Thank you

You did a wonderful job bringing this beauty back to life, I used to have one and miss it. You should stick to your original price as this is very much worth every penny of it.

Thanks, Rick! I appreciate that recommendation. I too thought I was going a little too low, so I suppose I will keep it as is for now. And all credit on bringing this back to life is due to Richard Ritter--I know his reputation says more than I could ever say about his craftsmanship. This is such a fun camera to use and a perfect kit for landscape or portrait photographers. Like you, I will miss this camera when it's gone, but hope it finds a great home.
Off topic, but is Laurel Highlands in the Pittsburg area? I'm not far from there in the Southwestern corner of NY and love photographing the Mountain Laurels in Allegheny National Forest.

I'm southeast of Pittsburgh about 20 minutes from Somerset, Pa.

I remembered that I have the lens that originally came with this kit--a Tessar Bausch & Lomb 5x8 brass f4.5. It's in rough shape, but definitely usable and free with purchase. Open to reasonable offers, just send me a message.
