IMPORTANT UPDATE:APUG meeting in Denmark?

there are now less than two weeks before this APUG meeting/course, and there have been a devopment...

Unfortunately Per Volquartz has cancelled his trip to Denmark, due to the value of the dollar.. (mostly, I think)

So my homepage, regarding this meeting is now out of date..

However, I have called all the people that allready had committed and paied for the course - told them about this, and they all say: Let's do it anyway!

and that we will.

the course runs from friday the 5'th to the 8'th of september.

We will meet - talk about analouge photography - look at images (Flemming Sarup will show his gumprints and tell about it) - go to the nature and take some pictures....

not in the Volquartz style, but maybe more in the pictorialistic style, as I have a LOT of old, interesting lenses, that begs to be used...

We will eat a lot - and well.

I will be in Denmark in November if anyone wishes to get together - just to say hi. (I will stay south of Silkeborg for about a week.)
I regret not being able to participate this time around.
The brutal dollar exchange and lecturing commitments (about photography) in China prevented me from going to Denmark in August / September. My schedule was up in the air for awhile - then went nuts! Sorry.

Jeg håber at APUG mødet går godt...

- at alle der kommer får oparbejdet masser af energi og inspiration
- samt at vejret bliver godt (efter at have boet i en semi-ørken i over 35 år foretrækker jeg nu selv regn og tåge, dog uden vind!)...

I må endelig lægge en masse billedmateriale fra træffet på nettet!!!

I am sorry that I will be unable to make this workshop. Work just gets in the way and there is not enough downtime to go around. I wish you all the best for this course - sometime in the future I will make it though if it happens again!
