Imacon 848 Flextight software problem

Hi,
I had a recent crash in my Mac Pro Yosemite system.
After restoration I can no longer discover the scanner (Imacon 848) with Flextight software.
Only the camera settings appear, not the scanner.
Is there a solution?

I understand this scanner model has both SCSI and FireWire interfaces. Which are you using? In case of SCSI, note that only the older versions of the FlexColor software supported SCSI scanners. I think the last version that supported SCSI was 4.0.3. If you're using IEEE1384 this should not be a problem.

I'm not familiar with the Mac ecosystem, but you may need to install drivers for your scanner.

Anyway, do you see Firewire device present in System Profile?

I searched it and it appears to support both SCSI and IEEE348, or maybe it came in either version. Not sure if that information is correct.

Probably confused it with some other model. Seems like it does support SCSI, but SCSI support in OSX ended way before Yosemite and Mac Pro, so I think it's pretty safe to assume this scanner is not connected to the Mac via SCSI.
