Hi, I would like to invite everyone to the opening Friday, March 6 at Modernbook Gallery where I am showing work in a group show. We will all be at the opening to show our portfolios. The portfolios will also be available for viewing for the duration of the show.

Report on Foto Nova 19 show at Modernbook Gallery

The show was very well attended, one estimate put it at 600 people. Large crowd for a moderate sized gallery, not easy to see the pictures on the wall. The portfolio showing went well. I showed my work one-on-one to about 25-30 people and really appreciated the feedback from the knowledgeable viewers. I sold three photographs and a few more people expressed interested in buying a piece. A curator invited me to present work to her gallery. Had a nice talk about my work with a photographer whose work I admire. Some of the other photographers sold more, some less. The economy is down, of course. Overall, a very nice and worthwhile experience.

More Receptions Fri. 3/20 and Sat. 3/28

Hi, we are having more receptions to show and talk about the work. Everyone is welcome to attend and we will have drinks and food. Should be much quieter without the crush of opening night.

Friday, March 20th, 5:30 ~ 7:30pm

and

Saturday March 28th, 2-4pm

the show ends on March 29th.
