In March of 09 I hung 15 photos in the doctor's lounge at the local hospital. 3 of them sold. Tonight a doctor who bought one came over to look at more of my stuff for her new office and she's interested, in particular, in these 2:

which I'd had matted and framed for a recent jurried show. They're my biggest (and most pricey) finished efforts. She's going to measure her walls to see if they fit. There are others she likes if they don't.

I've made some money over the years with my pregnancy and baby shots - a side-line to my "real" work - but have never sold much of my landscape/still-life/artistic stuff. I'm kinda chuffed! Just had to share it with the gang who have been such an inspiration and support for the last few years. Thanks everybody!

Congratulations - it's well deserved.

Just so you know, your links go to all of your APUG gallery images, rather than two particular ones.

Hope the doctor's walls are the right size

Thanks Jeff and Matt. I think I've corrected the links - it's a triptych and a pentatych.

Congrats! Best of luck with selling even more! A nice way to pay for our habits, eh? I remember when you posted these (and some work-in-progress variations).

They're 8x10 prints, matted and framed as a single piece. The triptych is 102 cm (40 inches) long and the pentatych is 152 cm (60 inches). I'm thrilled someone is interested, as I don't have the wall space for the longer one.
