I used to be a photographer, but currently, I do editing for my wife, who is much more accomplished than I ever was or could have been. So I am sort of sneaking into the site by the back door. Hope no one minds.
We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, home of frostbite and chilblains, where the official bird is the mosquito and the official plant is the sun-burned lawn.
We're looking forward to learning a lot from the people here.
Thanks.

Welcome! If - as you claim- you used to be a photographer...show us your old pictures. But what's wrong with taking new ones?

I've seen some of the work here. My stuff is 1) old and 2) not as good as what's here. I mean, I could post some, but it would be rather embarrassing. I guess what I'm saying is that I would prefer not to post my stuff... but, once I become a subscriber (a couple days, tops) I will post some of my wife's work. I got the size, she got the talent.
