Ilfrochrome is dead or not ?

Anyone know something about situation which Ilfrod Ilfrochrome. They discontinue produce this material or not ? maybe is another way to make analog print from slide ?

There are two other ways that I know of. One is to reversal process regular RA4 paper. PE has posted about this. Type R paper had more emulsion layers to reduce contrast and apparently this can be a problem but with a slide that the paper fits, it can work. It's said to work best with Kodak Endura.

The other way is by making an internegative and printing from that.

Reversal RA-4 works with Fuji Crystal Archive, too.

It is a very limited process but can produce some interesting results with some slides. Creating internegatives will be much much better but costs a bit more to do and takes some time.

Ilford Switzerland announced Ilfochrome discontinuation last year but I have seen places where you can still order remaining stock and processing chems. See (there was a url link here which no longer exists) for details, especially from (there was a url link here which no longer exists) on.
