The lid on my bottle of Ilfotec HC broke so I had to transfer it to another container, and in doing so noticed it was quite yellowed in color (similar to white wine). The bottle is maybe 2 years old and I've kept it stored in a cool basement this entire time, but I've never squeezed the air out of it or anything.
It seems to work just fine still, but I am wondering if the yellowing is a cause for concern. I seem to remember it was pretty clear when I first bought it. How long have you kept Ilfotec HC for?
