I have a choice of using Rodinal or Ilfosol S on a roll of Kodak's HIE Infrared film. After checking The Massive Dev Chart, I found I could not find times for Ilford's developer. I am a little worried about using the Rodinal as the HIE already tends to be rather grainy and for this school project I need to minimize grain as much as possible.
Has anyone here ever used Ilfosol S on HIE? Anyone have development time suggestions? Or should I just go out and get another developer?

Ilfosol S will make it grainy too. Dev time depends how it's been exposed. Longer dev = more grain. I personally like the HIE grain. You could try under developing the film by about 20% in Rodinal, but I would embrace the grain!
