A friend of mine has refrigerator full of photography paper. Some older than others. But we have no idea what's its worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of zone VI. Considering the dates on the box, (what looks to be 1993.) it may or may not still be good. As for value, I wouldn't know. I've seen people trying to either sell it with no avail or just giving it away for free.

Welcome to APUG.

Zone VI has quite a history (Fred Picker etc.), but that paper is now quite old.
I'm sure there are some who would like to see if what you have still performs well, because by all reports at least the early versions were very popular.
One of those boxes is of course film not paper.

Zone VI Brilliant was an excellent paper.
I went through many boxes of it back in "the day" (~20 years ago).

i doubt I would buy any boxes now because I can't use it long-term.
That means it's not worth the effort to burn several sheets calibrating the system.

Like Leigh, I, too, burned up many a box of Zone VI's B&W paper, but have no idea of worth (if anything) today. I can tell you that Fred sold this paper for $28.00 per 100-sheet box when first introduced. Of course, the price increased somewhat over the years.
