When the Ilford Titan Pinhole came out in the fall it was sold out right away.
The second batch of cameras is now arriving. I expect three units in stock on Tuesday.

No sign of the Titan Pinhole cameras here in Australia yet. They were due last November.

This is the second shipment in Canada. The first shipment was only 16 units and I bought five of them. Most were sold with in a day or two.
When I re-ordered they went straight to back order but have now arrived. Plus I'm a Walker's camera dealer and email back and forth with Mike a bit. He hopes to add an 8x10 version to the pinhole lineup as well as different "focal length" cones. ( I think that makes sense if you've seen the camera.)

Great! just the news I wanted to hear. A 8X10 Walker Titan pinhole would be sweet.

I was looking at one of these the other day at two different stores - Beau Photo in Vancouver, and Glazer's in Seattle.

The prices were reasonably close.

So the Pacific Northwest is covered

Simon Galley is here ( as always ) and would love to sort out availability....

But : You can only make so many in a day : they really are hand made.

: We have sold hundreds more than we ever thought we would.

: All our worldwide distributor partners have ordered strongly

We ( and Walker Camera's ) are doing absolutely all we can to fulfill our order book, I promise you.

A big thank you to all who have ordered and many apologies for those who have had to wait.

I just made my first 4 exposures with my Titan and really like it. Very light and easy to use. I am impressed with the quality and attention to detail, things like the blackened pinhole and the velvet light trap for the film holder. I did manage to get a slight light leak by not seating the film holder properly, but think I have that problem solved.

Definitely want a longer cone, as I am finding the stock cone is a little wide for some subjects.

Hey that is great news, I am thinking about buying one when I can, probably in the summer.

I have had a great deal of fun using my Titan, including a nice 45 min exposure using the Direct Positive Paper. Now if only I could get more of the DPP, ten sheets will not go far.

Comment, the negatives look incredibly sharp for pinhole.

Thanks again Ilford.

Dear Fred....

Fun, good word for it, it is fun. I too was impressed at how sharp it was when I printed from one of the prototypes.

Simon,

I emailed an inquiry to customer service about longer cones for my Titan and haven't received an answer. When will longer cones be available? I also have been enjoying the camera and was impressed with the overall quality and thoughtfulness in the design. Great Camera!!!

Also I bought Titan from Rob and he was great to deal with.

I have now made some prints, and can confirm that they are very sharp for pinhole, really pleased.

Mine came in on Thursday (from B&H), the 4X5 back came in on Friday, and I shot my first two pics about an hour ago. I used the Multigrade RC paper for my test shots and just pulled them out of the development tank. Two very impressive looking pics! I look forward to scanning later tonight.

I couldn't figure out why there would be holes off center.

Duh.

There is only the one hole in the middle and the other 2 are just places to store the other lenses.

It could be to simulate rise and/or shift movements, if it the pinhole covers 8x10 in all positions. Its useful.
