Having a go at SFX using a Nikon FM2 with the Ilford infrared filter mounted inside the camera along the film rails. What would be the proper iso? 25,50,100?
I won't be using a tripod (loaned to a friend) and the weather forcast calls for a bright sunny weekend.

Thanks

Set the camera meter @ 800 and dev in Ilford ID11 stock for 18 mins.
This will give you hand held speeds and give me good pictorial results.

So you can see what you are shooting. With the filter in front of the lens you can't see through it making hand-held use impractical.

800ASA? That's a hell of a push given Ilford's recommended speed with their filter is 12-50 depending on development (I use it at 6 (on a tripod) : ID-11 1+1 15min). Sure that 800ASA not without the filter?

800ASA?.....Exactly what I thought.
Bob,I've rated it at 50 but my local shop doesn't carry Ilford developers.I can access Rodinal,D-76,or HC-110.What do you think would give me the best results?
I'll check out the digital truth site and do a further web search.Thanks.

IIRC, I used an EI of 40 when doing this; an EI of 200 with the filter on the lens.

I've souped this film in D-76, HC-110 and Rodinal with times and dilutions off the MDC. Works for me.
