I read a tiny bit on fb about an Ilford titan? Anyone know whats it about?

a new titan camera that takes roll film and will probably cost more than any other pinhole camera on the market. What more do you want to know?

Those were released over a year ago. I can get a real 4x5 camera for the same price.

I didnt realize you were talking about a roll film camera.. Im sure the price will be outrageous..

Rather than retype, just substitute the phrase Ilford "Titan 120" for Nikon "FM10", when rereading...

...(there was a url link here which no longer exists).

It's a muck-up prototype of 120 format pinhole camera (not that the market is short on these by any stretch). But the astute among us on their FB page have noticed some befuddlements with this Wallace and Gromit get-up. Where is the tripod socket to attach it or a QR release plate? No ability to vary the focal length?

Yes, I went rather quickly to posting. (I even typo-ed to 'news' camera!! :-D)

Ken, thats exactly my view as well. Whether lomo, Leica, this or the cosina-nikon.

Varying focal length on pin-holes? People do that? :-/

This is pretty cool. Medium format is just so much easier to deal with than LF. The ability to switch between 6x6, 6x7 and 6x9, along with interchangeable cones, like the Titan, for different focal lengths would make this a really flexible camera.

Who would have expected this, the FM10, and the Intrepid, representing new cameras in the UK for 35mm, MF and LF, all in one week?

OH! And I forgot the new Leica!

Also 2 new scanners -for film/photo!! Who'd have thought that possible!

They certainly do. Have a look at this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/g-a-p/sets/72157633923865939/

He sells them on eBay now and again too

Nice! I'll take a look, thanks!

Personally I'd rather see a 6x12 Titan, 6x9 pinhole cameras are so common
