Ilford RC DP paper

does anyone know if the ilford direct postive paper is still being made as an RC paper
and if so where to get it ?

It was made on PET base by Ilford Imaging.

No it's not, there was an issue coating on the RC base and the second coating run failed and had to be scrapped. That was when the emulsion was made by Ilford Imaging in Marly which later ceased trading.

Now Ilford/Harman make the emulsion at Mobberly maybe there's a chance they can adapt the emulsion to coat on RC paper, there was talk at one point about possibly using the Ciba/Ilfochrome base which is what it was originally designed for.

Only in FB. There is an RC paper, coated on melinex (high gloss, same as cibachrome of the past), available in Europe only, from various vendors: Dead Link Removed

Imago DP paper coated on a RC surface is available from Firstcall Photographic in the UK, they do export all over so maybe worth a look if your are interested http://firstcall-photographic.co.uk

As the Imago DP paper was made by Ilford Imaging in Switzerland supplies may not last long now unless Ilford/Harman begin supplying them.

I'm crossing my fingers that maybe freestyle carries it ..

I'm not wanting to deal with the hassle of ordering from overseas
