Hi, I see once again that the 9cm roll is going to be made on sheet film stock. It is too stiff to use as a roll film. I purchased a roll last year and am disappointed to see it is being offered again from sheet stock.
Historically I'm not sure why we supplied this as sheet film stock. Perhaps others can comment, should it be on Roll film stock ?
Neil
The reason GregW is bringing this up is that 9cm on roll film stock would make it usable for re-spooling 122 film rolls. And there is a very large number of 122-roll compatible cameras like Kodak 3a that can be found for very cheap. They were mass-manufactured with excellent quality, but last film was discontinued a few years (decades?) ago. That is why there is some pent-up demand for 122 roll film. If interested, check e-bay "sold" prices of "122 verichrome" film.
I'm not really sure what was the target camera for 9cm sheet film stock. I'll let somebody else comment.
Eugene.
