Simon, I just signed up myself and my wife (we will be flying in from Maryland!). The only question I have is if its permitted to bring our cameras : )

Thanks for setting this up,
Perry

I went on the 2006 tour and a number of participants had cameras. The shots may still be in the members' organised gallery. It was quite dark in the film and paper processing area but one member had the foresight to use flash. I don't remember seeing him at the end of the tour and haven't seen any post from him since. I wonder what happened to him? He may still be on the Ilford site. They were pouring concrete shortly afterwards. Only kidding

can't wait !

Hi Simon I do hope I get the chance of a visit.

I have used Ilford...sorry now Hardman films and papers for over 50 years and the chance to see the materials made would be huge thing for me.

Thanks for the generous offer.

Bob Robertson..Rochdale.

Bob I think that Hardman films and paper are made in the East End by the Mitchell Bros.

Harman still demands money for its products but without menaces

Mind you, have a look at Dave Millar's gallery reference and the shot of these crossing the road on the tour. Scene looks like one out of "Reservoir Dogs" so you may be right about Hardman products.

Simon, have you given any more thought to shooting a video version of the tour for the thousands of us who can't get there in person? As far as I'm concerned, it wouldn't have to be professionally done at great expense in order to be interesting.

On the 2007 tour, Ilford were fine with cameras being used away from sensitive areas of the plant.
There are a few shots in my gallery here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

I will consider the video tour, for sure, will come back when we have a solution

If anyone from overseas is able to make it to Ilford/Harman, there is a UK APUG meet-up in Anglesey immediately afterwards for the rest of the weekend and you are very welcome to pop along - I'm sure lifts can be arranged! Thread about the meeting here: (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

Cheers, Bob.

Dear Chazzy,

The price includes shipping Worldwide...we have T shirts in Australia / Iraq & the Arctic...but not as many as are in our warehouse!

As an FYI : We now have the 50 for the tour, any other enquiries will go on the waiting list, please remember if you have to cancel let us know and we will ensure your place is allocated to someone on the waiting list.

Dear Simon,

What's the size of the waiting list looking like? I'd like to be on it if there's a chance of getting in, please.

Thanks,
Kevin

Dear Kevin,

If you come from Australia.....you will most certainly be allowed to join the tour, I am sure no Apuggers would object...

Regards

Simon.

That reminds me, I have to start making travel arrangements - what time is the tour going to be starting / finishing?
