Dear All,

I am pleased to announce the 2010 ULF film manufacture : All the details, including the product list, item numbers and a press release are on our landing page at www.ilfordphoto.com

The ordering window is from now to June 11th 2010 and the finished goods will be shipped to the USA and CANADA from the factory in August, with arrival at your re-seller of choice during September ( August for the UK ).

Once again we must thank our ULF re-seller partners, who help us make this happen.

As last year, the Management of ILFORD Photo / HARMAN technology Limited have instructed that every order will be fulfilled even if its only one box.

So to all our ULF film customers, thanks for using and valuing ILFORD Photo film products.

Great!

Is there any chance of half-plate FP4+?

I'm glad I saw this. I'll definitely buy some 2x3 sheets. The price is a bit steep compared to Efke's film of the same size, though.

Wow, I was bracing for a price hike- if there was one it's hardly noticeable.

Thanks so much for your continuing commitment, really can't say that enough.

You get what you pay for!
There is all the difference in the world in quality control, characteristic curve, effective film speed, maximum density and other important areas between Ilford and Efke products.

Just been reading a book from the late 1980s about collectible cameras. It was lamenting the fact that only 35mm, 120 roll and only 4 X 5,5 X 7 and 8 X 10 film are available. Alas, it tells us, cameras requiring whole plate, 2.5 X 3.5, Quarter plate and other sizes "are now just museum pieces, unless you can try to cut some film down yourself".

Some things really have got better

Matt,

Great news that you have the film listed, nice and easy to click on and buy when I have a weak moment ;-)

But... are you sure the price is correct for quarter plate?

2 1/2 X 3 1/2 is listed as £16.56 for 25 sheets

Quarter plate is a bit bigger, not quite double the area of film, same amount of cutting, but is listed as £77.59 for 25 sheets!

It is nearly the same price as sheets of 4 X 10"... something doesn't sound right.

It does sound strange for the QP - but this is direct from Ilford's list. I'll ask them to clarify,

Best regards,
Matt

I have a client who wants to get the 18x22 Mammoth film size. If I can get four orders for this size it's a go. Let me know if you're interested. HP5+ 18x22 25 sheets Mammoth Film $584.93
