What does the W1K mean in this product title: Ilford Multigrade MGIV FB W1K (Warmtone)?

Thanks!

I think the W stands for warmtone. The 1 stands for glossy. No idea about the K.

5 is matte, and it appears that 24 is semi-matte.

Note Ilford also makes RC, pearl, graded, satin, etc., which all probably are coded by the same means. All of this info should be in the box in human readable terms as well.

Not sure what the W is for, but doubt that it's for warmtone. My package of warmtone has a WT. The 1K is glossy.

I spoke to soon. The FB warmtone does carry the W code, but the RC warmtone has a T.

Thanks! Just a classification system then. Alrightie. Back to printing. =)
