ILFORD PAN F+ base color

Does ILFORD PAN F+ film have a base color? I've only used TMAX so far and it is clear or at least very light grey. Just wondering if I made a mistake in development.

It's been a while since I've worked with Pan F+ but I'm pretty sure it has a light gray-purple tint like other Ilford films.
