Just thought I'd share how I dealt with this since I couldn't find any specific info on pushing Pan 100 to 400. I know it comes as 400 as well, but I accidentally left my meter at 400 when I loaded this stuff up. Also, to be clear, this isn't Pan F, it's just Pan. I got it in Taiwan a year or so ago.
Anyway, I used Ilford Ilfosol S 1+9 for 8.5 minutes. I had read somewhere when pushing 2 stops to increase development time 50%, that would have been 9 minutes. I didn't go that long because I also made a rough graph of the EI values against development time (using info from the Ilford data sheet) and it looked more like 7.5 minutes fit the graph when I extrapolated it. I don't even know if that's a reasonable way of determining a development time for pushing or pulling, but that's what was scaring me away from developing it for 9 minutes. Actually, I was going to go 9 full minutes but chickened out at 8.5 minutes... I doubt those 30 seconds would have made a huge difference. Anyway, it came out fine as far as I can tell. So while I wouldn't make a habit of pushing this stuff to 400, you can in a pinch. And I should add that I haven't even printed these negatives yet, just developed and taken a quick glance at with some back lighting, not exactly exact.
Anyway, just thought I'd share how I developed Ilford's Pan 100 pushed to 400 since I had trouble finding any first hand info on pushing it. Hope this helps someone out sometime!
