Ilford are offering Pan F, FP4 and HP4 as a three pack offer in 35mm and 120. Great if you want to try out different Ilford films. Buy two packs of each size and it comes to exactly £50 so free postage (in the UK).

Thanks for the info . The 35mm is £13.50 per 3 pack and the latter is £11.50 per 3 pack so each film works out at £4.50 in 35mm or £3.83 in 120. Quite a bargain if you buy enough to avoid the delivery charge as well and assuming you want both 35 and 120 in all 3 films.

Just a pity that Ilford isn't offering each film as a 3 pack for the same price

If I understand correctly, 2 packs 35mm (6 films) and 2 packs 120 (6 films) for 50 pounds. Does that sound about right?

That's correct 12 films(6x35mm and 6x 120) for £50 with free delivery in the U.K. only as far as I am aware. Among the U.K. retailers this is the best deal I can find at the moment but you need to use all 3 kinds of film and in both 35mm and 120.

Good Christ that's expensive after i change it to the loonie!
Everything is expensive here in respect of analogue photography. We've been saying that for years but somehow those across the pond do not seem to grasp that and are continually shocked when faced with the difference in prices. I had thought that the price gap was largely with the U.S. However if I have read your sentiment correctly the price gap seems to be shocking to the Canadians as well.

Although Kodak products are now more expensive, for a time T-Max film was cheaper in the UK than ILFORD DELTA.

I don't shoot 135, so no good for me.

Ffordes is the cheapest I have seen for bricks of Ilford 120 in the UK.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. As a Canadian, anything Canadian made is expensive here. I believe the price gap is bigger between US and UK... the same can be said about petrol!

Yes, I agree on the petrol prices Andy. I hate crossing the border and having to pay the price you Canucks pay. On the same token you'd hate to cross the border and pay our college tuition costs or not to mention our healthcare/prescription drug costs.

A three pack of 1 Pan F, 1 FP4, 1HP5 35mm or 120. You could buy as many packs of each option. It just happened that two packs of each in the UK was £50 and so no extra for postage. If like me you are as much a camera experimenter as a photographer it is a good deal. I have bought in bulk from Ilford before. Last time was for 20 Kentmere 100s. Best part of dealing direct is it always seems to be fresh long dated stock. Most was 2022 although 35mm FP4 is dated 2024. Hopefully long used by them.

Not sure how long offer lasts. It has been on before and I was checking the site regularly. There is other interesting stuff there as well so not a chore.

It may be that Ilford timed its offer to coincide with that change in light conditions in the U.K. that makes even a 50 speed film usable handheld so that three of each x 2 packs means that you have, say, at least 5 months coming up in which to use 2 x Pan F in 35mm and 120

Noticed the comments on prices. Remember UK prices include 20% VAT (aka sales tax) a national tax. US sales taxes seem to be local and added onto listed prices when you purchase. No idea about Canada though. Historically I actually think film prices are quite low taking inflation into account. Maybe it is the cameras being so cheap now makes the film more affordable!
