I was desperate a few years ago. My Beseler colour head cashed in its chips. I salvaged the mixing chamber and mounted a 3K LED pot light including diffuser on top of the mix chamber, just a stop gap to continue split grade printing. Well years on I just cannot seem to find the time to make my temporary solution permanent. I cannot expect the LED light to match a tungsten lamp with a set of Ilford variable contrast filters. But all I do is split grade so I do not worry about that. The magenta filter exposure needs to be two stops longer, not one as is the case with a tungsten lamps.
