Ilford multigrade 500 head

Hi, fellows
I have the opportunity to buy a Durst 805 enlarger with an Ilford Multigrade 500 head.
Does anyone have experience with that kind of head? Good or bad.

I worked with an Ilford VC head back in the late 80's when I worked part time for Mobil Oil in the photo department. I do not know if it is the same model you are referring to and I have not worked with an other since. But for what I remember, it worked fine. A double rheostat for each tube gave me all the contrast control I wanted. If at all possible, try to work with it before buying and call Ilford for additionall information.
