I mixed up a liter of ID-68 and tried it on a roll of HP5+. I used the times from Ilford for Microphen...I like the results. Unfortunately, I was also using a brand new camera so, am un able to make draw any meaningful conclusions except that it works!

Anyway, anybody actually using ID-68? Currently, in the past

why/why not?

Yes, I mix and use ID-68 and I also mix and use ID-78 (warm tone paper developer). I like both of them.

I used it quite a lot with HP-5 and Eastman 5222 motion picture negative back in the late '70s. I used the same times as Microphen, also. I couldn't distinguish any significant difference between them with these films.

So, I just finished my second roll of HP5+ in ID68. This time, I rated it at EI-800. Results are not half bad.
