Ilford film service

I gave the new Ilford film processing service a go last week - I was very happy and impressed with the results and service.

Out of interest, does anyone know what developer would have been used - I posted a roll of 35mm HP5 - it seemed a lot grainier at 6x4" than I'm used to as I use Rodinal when I do it myself?

I usually use XP2 for 35mm stuff - has anyone had any experience with this film using the Ilford service?

According to the website, it's Ilfotec RT Rapid.

I've used XP2 with the Ilford service, entirely satsifactorily, but that was before they took the service in-house in early 2008. I've not tried it recently.

And, like you, I'm also very satisfied with their service. It's great to have this available at a sensible price.
