Yup. At which time its predecessor, the IV version, was discontinued.Looks like the current generation of MGFB was introduced 6 years ago.
OK..... then member i was "Quoting" was either confused about the timeline of Current/Discontinued products, or i misunderstood HIS timeline when he discussed the two different papers.Current Ilford MG fiber-base offerings are: Classic, Warmtone, Cooltone, and Art 300. The "IV" was the predecessor to the current Classic. There is still some "IV" out there for sale as old stock or "used."

Some people lament the passing of (and hoard) products no longer in production.
Only thing I ever stockpiled was 120 Verichrome Pan and now I'm down to my last two rolls :-( There will never be another film like it, especially when developed in PMK.Who does that? (as I stand hiding my chest freezer stocked with film and paper!)
