Ilford F-17 surveillance film

Anyone heard of it or have experience with it?

I googled and nothing came up.

Surveillance film is not designed for general purpose use. It IS designed for getting any sort of image under adverse conditions, So contrast, latitude and resolution may not be optimal. Typically these films have no anti-halation layer. Bright objects may have a halo around them. So it depends on what you consider a bargain.

Surveillance is a wide term. I could mean bank-surveillance, but also traffic surveillance. Thus minimum requirements vary, and manufacturers could make different price offers.

Fomapan F-17 was made long ago and I have shot Tasma Type 17 which was challenging, and was marketed as surveillance and aerial film.
