Folks;

I have used Kodak (4 x 5) T-MAX 100 for about ten years in combination with Photographers Formulary TFX-2 Developer. I have always liked the results however, given my concern about Kodak's commitment to Black & White photography, I have decided to start shooting Ilford Delta Pro 100.

So, here's my question: is there a comparable developer to TFX-2 which would work with the Delta Pro films??? I am particularly fond of Glycin-based developers so, keep this in mind when you respond (I also use an old "dip n' dunk 4-up system which allows me to process about twelve 4 x 5's with relative ease).

Thank Much!!!!!!

Later--Joe

Let me follow the logic here, if I can--no mean task.

I like the product and have used it for a decade, but Kodak isn't committed to film---though they keep introducing new film products and improving old ones--- so let me demonstrate my purity of heart and revolutionary bona fides by boycotting their products, which have served me so well. 'Cause nothing bolsters a company's commitment to keep offering declining niche products like falling sales and customer indifference.

Brilliant.

Perhaps not as bluntly as Mike ( ;p ) I must agree with him. Kodak can say what they want but the proof is in the puddin'. They are still pushing the envelope in the film media department. Use the Great Yellow Father's products until they are gone. When they do cease film related production, Ilford and others will be there to take up the slack. Just help us schmoes that are still opening yellow boxes to keep it coming for as long as possible.
