Ilford Delta 100 in Paterson Aculux2 - times for 4x5?

I've got some Delta 100 that I am finally getting around to shooting. This is 4x5 and I'd like to try it in Paterson Aculux_2 and I'll likely process it in a Jobo 2521 tank with continuous rotation by hand.

I've not used this film nor this dev before but, I've heard they're a good fit for one another.

Since the massive dev chart is missing this combo, I'm looking for any information you might be able to share.

What dev time do you use?
What EI do you recommend?

Ps I'd also be interested in the same info for this film with HC-110.

You should use the film manufacturers recommended ISO/ASA to start with and make a bracketed exposure to get a feel for what gives the optimum exposure, try one at the recommended exposure, one at half an f/stop extra and a third exposure at plus one stop extra. As for development, follow the instuctions given with the developer. If the negatives are too low in contrast, increase in one minute increments or reduce by the same if too contrasty, that way if you go too far, then about a half minute correction the other way will usually be all that is required.
You have to do things that work for your own personal requirements as what may work well for one person may not work so well for another.

I would love to hear about how this turns out. I have only used 120 delta 100 in this dev. If you use a diffuse light source, try Paterson times minus 10 % for rotary and minus another 10%. Should mean nothing will get too blown. I start on paterson times minus 10% for tank and have not had probs yet. Condennser would be very much less.

The tonalty should be pretty spectacular, but as for aparrent sharpness that will be the interesting bit.

preliminary results are in....

I shot six sheets (three holders) of Delta 100 on Saturday. Each pair of negatives in a given film holder got the same exposure of the same scene. I developed half of them in Aculux-2 and the other half in my standard dev, HC-110 dil. D.

The results were quite similar in most repsects. I have no way to quantify the differences so, I'll only say that, to my eye, the films dev'd in Aulux exhibited slightly beter acutance and virtually, no grain. Those dev'd in HC-110 showed a bit better tonal gradation. Again, totally subject, non-expert opinion. Both developers, in my opinion produced quite satisfactory results. I'll post some examples below.

You know, upon further consideration, I think the time I gave above is probably a little on the long side for 'normal' scenes. The lighting in this particular situation was very flat. Maybe three stops of range between the brightest and darkest regions. I'm going to try again and give it something like 8 minutes next time.
