Can this safely be reused without a lot of guesswork.
Or is best disposed of after one use @ 1:4, thats an expensive developer AAAGGGHHHHHHH !
A lovely one , but an expensive one.

What film are you developing? with HP5+ you can use 1:9 and i believe you can use similar dilutions for other film too.
I always use film developer one shot no matter what brand or mix.

Im using Trix 400 and foma 400 120 format and 135

Hi, if you look on the instructions on the side of the bottle they give guidelines for re-using it, i.e. increasing dev. time.

I saw that but it does say to mix with unused developer but no quantity given,unless this is based on making a working slolution out of the entire concentrate and pouring the used developer back into the working solution

I think the instructions are quite unclear in this area.

The Massive Dev Chart does list times for Tri-X at 1:9 but i have no experience with that combination. Suggest you do a little testing before developing anything important. Have read somewhere on this site that it should be a nice combo.
