Ilford 30x40 cm - No Stock in Fotoimpex?

Hi,

I noticed that Fotoimpex does not have 30x40cm / 50 sheets Ilford FB multigrade papers? Is there some problems, or demand is so big ...?

Or is Fotoimpex ordering at fault? Sooner or later any company's order scheduling can be faulty. It might be as simple as that.

There seems to be a problem with the new FB Multigrade Classic, I checked the Silverprint site over the weekend and it is listed as currently unavailable,

Multigrade FB IV 1K (glossy) is in stock, 5K (matt) is not. Classic 5K is out of stock, Classic 1K is not even listed.

Demand seems to be way outstripping supply, and MGFBIV will soon be gone, it is not listed at all at Silverprint, there is a note stating that MG classic is unavailabe but should soon be back on the shelves, this is for both the listing for Glossy and Matt, Hopefully Harman will catch up with demand soon

On ebay.de also I was not able to find any Ilford FB 30x40cm / 50 sheets.

If the MGFB run down has been unexpectedly quicker than the Classic "run-up" then Ilford may be aware of the problem and given Ilford's communications record with APUG we might well see Simon Galley commenting on the situation soon. Let's hope so

I have an order pending for the new MGFB Classic at Silverprint in London. About two weeks ago I got a message saying that supplies of the new Classic will be delayed but in the meantime Ilford is about to make an extra run of the MGFBIV emulsion. That should be delivered to the shops by now. If you want the MGFBIV , get in contact with your dealer and see what they get hold of.
