Dear friends. I have a camera with an Iles Universal lens. Until recently, it worked, but yesterday when I turned on the T shutter speed, something clicked and the shutter stopped working. I disassembled it, washed it with alcohol, checked all the springs, and found out that one spring was not strong enough to close the bolt until the end. If you put a more powerful spring, then there is no force to open it. All shutter blades move without friction, easily. Perhaps someone can tell where the problem is? And how to solve it. 2.jpg

It’s dirty. Dirty and dry. Did you disassemble to clean? If not, it sometimes takes several flushes to get a shutter clean enough.
