I have one of these Ilex 6" F3.5 Seminat lenses in a #3 shutter. There is barely any information on this lens, especially the still photo version. I figure while I have this one, I will try to figure out a bit more about it.

It'll be a while before I get to use it anyway, I've got a lot of parts to make before I can mount it on a camera.

Anyway, I did the reflection test. The front elements appear to have two pairs of strong reflections, so that would mean a pair of air-spaced lenses, right? The rear element shows only a single pair of strong reflections, so that would suggest a single lens-I can't see a set of weak reflections, but I may not be looking at the right thing.

I've attached a view of the lens front and back.
