I have a set of close up lenses and have a question. They are able to slip on from either end. Does this mean that they can be used either way or is it to accept other add on things like filters? Also at age 79 I am not very computer savvy. I have tried to obtain the PHOTRIO address in order to become a contributor by cash mail but was not successful. Can someone please give me the address?

Are they the two-piece Proxar lenses or Ikoprox like this? https://www.jogeier.com/media/catal...05m__f_ikoflex_93705_mint_in_box_54c04cda.jpg

They are supposed to go on only one way (the convex side of the lens outwards) and they can accept filters and sun shade. Can you post a picture of them?

I wasn't familiar with these and had to look them up. They look cheap for being Zeiss Ikon products, a rolled sheets of metal and rings to keep them together. The text says that the lenses are a carefully matched pair, and that substituting one of them for one from another set would cause bad results.

Maybe they aren't meant to be used with filters since the outside diameter on the front is the same as on the back.
