Ike Royer, whom passed-away earlier this year. He had many contributions to photography. In the 1970’s Ike was most responsible for bringing Oriental Seagull black and white photo paper to the America, the paper made famous by Ansel Adams, Bret Weston and many others. Ike was instrumental in forming and was the chairman of the Freestyle Advisory Board of Photographic Professionals.
I only Met Ike a few times when I was just starting up dr5. He was the 1st to give us the Maco film to run in the process. I last spoke with him just before 911, we emailed a few times over the years. I was sad to hear he passed away.

I was a close friend of this wonderful man. I miss him daily. He was a true gentle giant. He was my husbands partner and a dear friend and will always be greatly missed. Susan Margaret
