Hi APUG members
I have a roll of Ilford FP4+ shot on a FED Micron ½ frame camera.
The only developer I have is FOMADON LQN.
Have searched The Massive Dev Chart & found no information on these two items together.

Is there anyone out there that has tried to develop Ilford FP4+ with Fomadon LQN ?
I plan on using Foma films & chemicals because of price.

Foma films need about 2/3rd to 3/4 the times of most films so FP4 will need a little longer you might start with 7-9 minutes. 8 minutes would be a starting point.

Ian

Thanks Ian
I had made a guestamate of around 9 mins. I'll keep notes & if all goes well try another roll of FP4+.

Thanks Wolfgang. I converted it to Czech & had a read.
Thanks hpulley. Knowing the film is sluggish helps to. It was exposed on an overcast day.

Think i will go with a 1:14 of Fomadon for 11½ mins @ 20° C tonight.

Thank you all for your help.

Well I processed it at just over 22° because it was a warm night & I don't have AC
I went with a time of 11mins. Got images but feel the blacks are black & I've lost detail.
My scanner is not much cop. Gotta get a new scanner, that's for sure.

I think FP4+ at 20° for 11mins in Fomadon LQN would be OK. I cooked it.
FED Micron ½ frame at North Arm Marina.
