If you own Ilford PQ Universal or Ilford Multigrade Paper Developer, would you please post the lot number -- something that looks like 80D027 (mine). I have a mystery bottle of Ilford paper developer. When I decanted it to a smaller bottle, I copied down the lot number and threw the packaging out. Now I need to reorder, and I want what I had before. But I don't know if I ordered PQ or Multigrade.

It's a strange request, I know. In short, I'm trying to identify the product from what I think is the lot number. Thanks.

I bet if you e-mailed Ilford what information you do have they could identify the developer.

Recent bottle of multigrade - Lot no 96A024 - not sure if that is going to help any

My most recent bottle of Ilford Multigrade is Batch Number: 82B024 - I bought it here in Australia around four months ago (I think).

Thanks everyone. I was hoping to see a pattern or something in the lot numbers that would differentiate between the two. I knew a matching lot number was a longshot. Maybe I'll PM Simon...
