Good to see so many people choosing Olympus for their SLR choice.

Currently only really shooting with two cameras anyway, so I'll go with:

Olympus OM1n. Small, light, lovely lenses, good looks.
Kodak Retina II. Pocket-sized, amazing lens, can beat people to death with it.

All but the Pentax 110 will survive an enemy EMP. I choose the RB67 because I prefer 6x7 and I like its macro capability and revolving back.

Aside from the little Pentax SLR, these are all 100% mechanical, 100% manual cameras.

very easy... several years ago i sold down my collection and now have only two cameras [and an RF body that i am having trouble parting with].

Hmmm..this is tricky ! I'd go with one 35mm and one MF, so I'd choose:

F3HP and leave the M6
RB67 and leave the 500CM, 500EL, C330

As much as I do not like to think about it, this thread will become relevant when I finally downsize to move.
The current house is much bigger than the house we will retire into.
So a LOT of my "stuff" has to be sold off.
So which of my X cameras of various formats from 35mm to 6x6 to 4x5 to keep, and which of my 5 enlargers to keep?

I've had the Ftn since about 1970 give or take. I'll get my son to sit it on my casket. I'll have another Mamiya C33x at some point. Loved the C33 I had while my buddy was on the Asian senior trip in the late 60s.

Ok I added a Canon EOS 1N to my RB67 and Olympus XA, and I freaking love it, so I am possibly changing to the RB67 and the EOS 1N. Still, what about stealth/espionage?

If it's limited to film, then my Anniversary Speed Graphic and Sinar F1. It helps that they can share lenses.

If I have to have an SLR, then I'd probably take my Pentax Super Program. I know it's not many people's favorite, but love it!

If I follow the original parameters of the thread - 35mm, one SLR and one 'other' - I would choose my Nikon FE2 (my main film camera for the past 35 years) and my Kodak Retina IIc.

Two 35mm SLRs would be the FE2 and an F2.

Two different formats would be the FE2 and a Zeiss Ikon 524/16.

Well.....Fortunately for you..."Many People" do not get to choose for you.
That is a Great/Interesting component of posts like this.....it reminds a person of how many Great Cameras were made, even though they might not have been considered a "Great Camera" in their day.

If the camera is functioning properly, i will go with Talent/Ability over gear every time.
