Among MF, my medium format view camera. (No question.)

Among all my cameras, I'd be hard pressed to give up the same camera. Given the "reasonable" prices being asked, I recently bought an MF digital back. 4x5 has always been my preferred format. But, MF black and white film together with digital capability makes for a sweet combination. If it came down to only one camera, this would have to be it.

A Fuji GSW 690 III (65mm lens) I bought 20 years ago. Including the Minolta spotmeter I scored at the same time.

I know it’s a silly topic, but occasionally worth thinking about. I have to say that for work, family shooting, etc. I would have to retain my digital Nikon gear. It would make me sad to give up film, but reality.

If my wife and colleagues were to completely take over those responsibilities, and I were shooting just for pleasure, I would retain my Hasselblad gear for its versatility and the way it fits my style of photography. The most versatile by far of anything I own.

Stereo Realist Custom. Best lenses ever, fantastic quality, ease of repair, ability to make stereo images, ability to single expose and get 58 images on a roll of film. Rarity, only 2500 made, retention of value.

What is the fun in having just one camera? I would give away the last one too and start painting or reading orrrr maybe: thinking.

Restricting just to MF, I'm in the Mamiya C330 club, as well. But only because I don't yet own a Rolleiflex. I suspect my answer might change after joining that club (the Mamiya is fantastic but weighs almost 2x that of a Rolleiflex and is a good bit larger... about 2kg for the Mamiya, depending on lens/finder, and about 1kg for the Rolleiflex depending on model).

I'm not sure yet, maybe my RB67, but it's going to be heavy approaching 70+ years old or later. Or my Rollei 3003, or my small Canon SB IV (same age as I'm).

While I'm quite 'happy' with my much experienced Linhof monorail.. if I were in need... (and had the $$) I would go for a new Sinar.
I had a Sinar F2 when 'working' in a Fed Govt. research facility and found the 'off axis' swings and tilts made the never-ending set- ups a LOT ''faster and much 'easier' when having to record "close-ups" for the both the scientists and their technical support staff.

It's not an unreasonable question. I love my black paint M4.....but I really love prints from larger negatives. I love the big Fuji rangefinders...& the results from them......but they're bulky to travel with. I love my LF....but I go further than just close to the car. I love my Plaubel Makina 670....but it as mechanical a whiz as it is.... it doesn't handle that well. +
Rolleiflex! & yes I could live with just one camera..... i did that for decades.

Only 1? My iPhone, because I literally can't make a living without it, camera or no.

If you exclude the iPhone, I realize this is the analog section, but I'm keeping my D800.

If you limit things to analog gear, the F100.
