The F3HP image is slightly brighter, not dimmer, but it is slightly smaller than the image you get with the non-HP finder.
I find the HP finder easy to use with or without glasses. I'm quite sure I'd find the non-HP finder difficult to use with glasses, so I'm glad I have the finder I have.

There's actually very little difference in terms of eye relief between the DE-2 and DE-3(HP) finder. Magnification is what makes the difference. Have both, wear glasses and actually prefer the DE-2.
Although commonly used to denote "advance electronic", I believe the Yashica TL Electro X is the one that sports not one but two symbols closest to that used in the US Atomic Energy Commssion logo. This must definitely mean nuclear powered . .
