Hi,
Can anyone suggest which camera this leather case was made for. I think it may be for a Leica screw type body but seems to be too crudely made for a genuine accessory (it may be Russian or even be a DIY item). There is no maker's name. The camera fixing screw is a 3/8" thread. Size is c140x75x30mm. Thanks in advance.

The lens cutout isn't correct for Leica, I think. The only clue is the location of the tripod screw.
 
The quality of the material may be telling. Here it seems thin leather on cardboard on felt.

I got a Zenit case that is thick leather on suede leather... But there may have been a variety of materials used even at one manufacturer.
