Hi Everyone,
I'm searching for some information on this camera part.
Its a focusing hood/ ground glass combination.

The usual part you would use to open the focusing hood is the same as any toyo focusing hood. I've searched for photos but have not been able to clearly identify it.

Any and all help would be wonderful.
Thanks!

I generally refer to it as the camera back, others may have a different name for it.

It's only part of a Graflok style back, more specifically it's the ground glass focus frame and hood. However I think the OP wants to know what make this one is, they aren't all inter-changeable between makes, or even different backs from the same manufacturer.

I know such as "spring-back".

A spring back is fixed and can't be removed. See here.

Some call Graflok style backs International backs, however in the UK that was also used for spring backs that accepted the new post WWII International standardised film/plate holders where the similar US/UK and Continental film sizes had holders with the same outside dimensions, ie 9x12 & 5x4, Half plate 7x5 & 13x18, 10x8 & 18x24 etc.

It's called a focus frame. Everything about it looks like Cambo: the frame itself, GG, hooks, springs... Even the totally useless little plastic "handle". I believe the sold a folding focus hood as optional accessory. Google catalogue to verify; I can't access my copy at this moment.
