Identify this Fuji 120 (probably ISO 100) film...

Just bought for a very low price a Mamiya 6 and found it had still a roll of film in. Closed it fast but think I saw frame number 4 on the backing paper, and I had advanced already once without knowing there is film in. So should be 3 photos on the roll shot, I guess. Since the counter did a reset, I spooled it back in a dark bag. Found it is a Fuji Color film, see photo attached. No identification if C41 or slide (this might be at the end of the roll?). Since there is the back paper and the room wasn't very bright, I think I can just use this as a test roll from frame 5 or 6 on, giving me a half roll of free film. The camera was set to ISO 100, so I hope this is the film speed.

From the photo, any hint (e.g. by the red color) what this could be? Superia 100? Reala? Provia? I guess the most important: C41 or slide, and does anything speak against the ISO 100 (e.g. red means always ISO X)? If it is C41, I will expose it 1-2 stops more, but not for slide... And, will the process be mentioned at the end of the roll, haven't used Fuji that much and can't remember, I think Kodak mentions C41..

I don't know colors for film types etc, but since it says "Fujicolor", fairly sure it's C-41. Silde film would say "Fujichrome."

I agree. It is a C41 film and likely ISO 100. If it were ISO 160 or 400 and exposed at ISO 100, the exposures would still be usable.

Good news is, any Fuji C-41 other than the ProH 800 is likely to be within latitude if shot at EI 100.

Good luck, found film is a whole fun sub-hobby in itself...

Sounds good, thanks! Should have thought about -color vs -chrome for identification.
And yeah, @Found film: still have 3-4 TriX (or was it Tmax?), 35mm, completely rewound, which came with a camera. Should develop at least one of them to see what is on, otherwise use them just for bulk loading...

Definitely looks the same, which doesn't mean there are not other films with the same look. ISO fits as well. Of course the initial tape is missing, and seems like the part which get stuck into the empty roll was ripped of and it was instead taped onto the roll, for whatever reason (afraid it doesn't hold otherwise?).

Thanks all, I guess that's enough info, the final answer will come when it is developed I guess.

A suggestion.

In the darkroom or changing bag, load the film into the tank ready for developing.
Then examine the backing paper in the daylight.

I just had a look at an old Ilford 120 backing paper. It has the film details printed at the beginning and end.
Hopefully Fujicolor does something similar.

After all my searching it will probably turn out to be just the backing paper, used as a dummy film.

Good Luck.

Thanks! But yes, when I spooled it back, there was definitely film, not only paper. I guess C41 and most likely ISO 100 is good enough for now, and if it is indeed Reala I guess at least 10 years old, stored under unknown conditions (maybe frozen and went just last year into the camera? Or sitting since 15 yrs at room temperature, who knows. The battery was removed from the camera. I'll see how it turns out...)

Finally finished the roll off, and: The "exposed" label says Superia 100. So the ISO 100 guess was good. Will get it developed this week, so let's see how it turns out.
