Hello! I just came across this odd "Frankenstein" camera with a Balda-badged Compur-Rapid shutter (S/N 6002360) and Zeiss Jena Tessar 10.5cm f4.5 lens (S/N 2217389). The camera itself is reminiscent of a Zeiss Ikon Ideal 250/3 with a ~6.5x9cm (2.5x3.5") film plane. The issue I'm having is that, based on the serial numbers, the Compur-Rapid shutter appears to be manufactured in 1947 whereas the Tessar lens is from 1937. Along with that discrepancy, the camera body itself has to external markings except the leather handle which reads "Made in Germany." It also came with a Rollex 120 roll film adapter (which I believe was manufactured by Balda as well).
My main issue is finding a singular name to badge this camera, otherwise I can only refer to it as my Balda "Frankenstein" camera since it seems odd to have a 10-year difference in serial numbers between the shutter and lens. I hope someone can help! Images are attached below.
